THE CHALLENGE
For the Australian launch of their colourful Lip Butter range, Revlon wanted an innovative way to drive sampling and hype, whilst engaging their brand with a younger 16-24 year old market.
THE IDEA
To do this we launched “Revlon Lip Butter Bump” a unique real-world mobile sampling app to promote conversation around the new Lip Butter range.
The app utilized Bump Technology to reward the first 2000 users who bumped their mobiles together, with a free pre-release full-size sample of Revlon Lip Butter.
THE RESULT
Within 48 hours, all 2000 Lip Butter samples where claimed, starting over 4000 real-world conversations which rippled through friends social circles. This had a massive halo effect on the Revlon brand with a 53% increases in traffic to their mobile site.
